Tracked in the summer of 2012 in Richmond, VA at Sound of Music recording Studio. Mixed at my mixing space in Fort Thomas, KY and my home, the Pink Mailbox, in Nashville, TN.
"Pass Away" is about a dream Isaac Karns had about seeing Jesus play backstage show at a Kiss Concert.
Curt - We had walked out into the middle of the James River and met a man floating in the water who claimed his name was "toe-mosh". A storm moved in and we started running on the rocks towards shore. Curt took longer than the rest of us and when he showed up he said, ""I looked around and 'toe-mosh' was gone"
Joey - "I put a scoop of birthday bash ice cream in my coffee and drank it while listening to Miguel tell me about his spiritual journeys in india"
Natalie Prass - Side By Side EP
Tony Anderson - "Like A Child"
Mixed and Mastered in February 2016
Caleb Groh - Bottomless Coffee
Samuel Lockridge - When I Rise
Pomegranates & Caleb Groh - In Your Face Thieves
Mixed/Mastered in the spring of 2011 at my apartment on Belmont University's campus.
This is a collaboration of Pomegranates and Caleb Groh. The name of the record alludes to an incident in which a great deal of gear was stolen from their van. This is their way of saying "you can't stop us".
Timbre - Silent Night
Better Off - (I Think) I'm Leaving
the Soil & the Sun - What Wonder Is This Universe!
Mixed/mastered the Summer of 2012 in Fort Thomas, KY and Grand Rapids, MI. I was working at Epipheo full-time and mixing at night.
Part of What Wonder was mixed in a warehouse called the Harris Building on Division Street in Grand Rapids, MI. While mixing, Alex McGrath and Mason Self played a risky game of rollerblade frisbee. An unlikely throw landed Alex McGrath wounded by broken glass and He was promptly rushed to the hospital. He was okay, but if you ever think about rollerblading and playing frisbee... don't.
Happiest Lion - Mammoth Moon
Mixed/Mastered in 2010 at Pembroke Hall in Nashville, TN.
Caleb Groh and I met on myspace in 2008 and we have been making records ever since. This was his second and final full length as Happiest Lion. Mammoth Moon was mixed remotely over the internet long before Caleb and I had actually met in person.

Joseph Lemay - Seventeen Acres
"A doublewide talent living the singlewide life, LeMay has crafted one of the best Americana albums of the year." - Rolling Stone 2014
This album was tracked in Dyersburg, TN and Nashville, TN in the summer of 2013. Joseph is a fantastic songwriter and I was honored to have worked with him. The praise from Rolling Stone is not only justified, but even understated.
